BlackKeymaster
The atmosphere. The sights, sounds, smells and feelings are all super nostalgic. Just walking down the street with all the colors of Fall and people’s houses decorated. It’s a warm and fuzzy feeling.
BlackKeymasterOh yeah, they’ll go on the list for sure, just taking a break. I’ll beef up the list some more tomorrow too and the next day and so on…
BlackKeymasterOkay, I’ve started a rudimentary list here just to establish format:
https://halloweenlove.com/halloween-horror-music-collection/
Give me some time to get it bulked up.
Thanks
BlackKeymasterYeah, make sure to follow this topic:
https://halloweenlove.com/topic/halloween-party-song-playlists/
I’ll be putting together a list and then inviting the community to collaborate on it and maintain it.
BlackKeymasterYeah, I used to have the site open to guest bloggers too to really make it a community experience for Halloween lovers, but it never attracted much interest. If that changes I’d be open to the idea again.
BlackKeymasterBelieve me, a lot of my stuff is obscure too (the best kind of music), and definitely not party music haha. Unless you’re having a serial killer party where everyone sits around staring ominously at one another.
Yeah, I’ll hopefully have something put together before the week is out. I’ve had this one on the back-burner for a long time:

BlackKeymasterAbsolutely, always a classic.
BlackKeymasterHaha, I’ve certainly scared a few parents in my day.
BlackKeymasterFeel free to share any relevant links of where we can learn more or buy these makeup products. The spam filter might get you, but I’ll save you.
Also, have you ever considered perhaps sharing painting techniques on YouTube?
BlackKeymasterExcellent list.
I’ve dedicated many years to collecting the best Halloween and horror music, what I think I’ll do is compile some sort of fancy list where we can all collaborate and build the ultimate playlist.
Thanks
BlackKeymasterOf course not, I never try to put anyone into a box and in fact try and offer as much freedom as possible, you just beat me to the punch before I could get the following topic in place:
https://halloweenlove.com/topic/new-forum-category-suggestions/
As to your suggestion, I think that topic should safely cover that whole general area, I’ve made an addendum to the description so it now reads:
“Discussion for haunted houses and rides (both great and small).”
Does that work?
Thanks
BlackKeymasterI’ve definitely received the health and toothbrush stuff from health nuts before that simply can’t take a break for just one night a year.
The weirdest thing I ever received myself when I was a child was probably a religious bookmark with some kind of gross candy taped to it.
Some people can’t seem to just let go and have fun and let people be, they have to push their personal agendas and views on others.
BlackKeymasterNot corny or weird or strange in a bad way at all.
Nostalgia is very powerful and smell is the most powerful sense of all that can elicit vivid memories or feelings.
BlackKeymasterI’d say you’re never too old! However, society might have a different opinion on that.
I think anyone of any age, considering they’re still in good walking health would have fun trick or treating, but we all know how most would react to a 40-year-old for example walking up to their door saying trick or treat, they’d likely give them a piece of candy quickly and close the door or refuse.
I think for those of us that have children that’s about the only way to “safely” enjoy the tradition anymore.
To put it in a number, probably 13 is close to the social cut-off.
