As many of you probably know by now, the JAWS ride was retired back in 2012. It was very sad, especially for those of us that never got to ride it. 
Although it’s been 7 years already since the ride was dismantled, a Twitter user, @BringBackJaws, has started making a bit of a ruckus about bringing back the ride. Like @BringBackJaws, my effort will probably make no difference, but all the same, they inspired me to launch a petition for a new ride.
I know full-well that petitions like this probably won’t make an impact on anyone with any real power to make something happen, but it couldn’t hurt, and all the same, it’s still just fun.
Unless you’re in, near, or plan on traveling to Japan, where they have a nearly identical version ride at their Universal Studios, the following video is probably the closest any of us will ever get to experiencing the ride:
