This is of course from the Friday the 13th films, which I am a huge fan of.
This particular mask is sold as a blank and made from the actual mold used for the mask from Friday the 13th: Part III. I got it from the wonderful artist over at FrightStuff for around $50. I weathered and painted the mask myself (not bad for my first go, but I’ll do better next time), which was more of a treat than a burden.
UPDATE — It’s been a long time since I made this post, and there are now many more options for movie-accurate Jason masks. Honestly, I have no idea anymore what’s the best. You may want to have a search around on your own. This post has some pretty thorough and recent updates on where to find the best blanks.
