That’s right, after the past several years of the Terminator franchise being in limbo, having its rights auctioned off over and over, a new film, Terminator: Genisys is finally in production, being released on July 1st, 2015, slated to be followed by two sequels on May 19th, 2017 and June 29th, 2018.
However, it’s worth noting that Terminator Salvation was also intended to kick off a new trilogy that never came to be.
I suppose we’ll just have to see how things go, but I’m always excited for more Terminator.
