Egyptian Princess Being Carried By Anubis

We completely home-made this costume. We made a throne from foamboard which we covered with gold fabric and decorated it with blue sequin trim and Egyptian charms and jewels. We made fake legs to sit on the throne by stuffing gold leggings with pool noodles and attaching gold boots. We also decorated a feather crown headpiece and added other Egyptian accessories. The throne was then held up by Anubis, which was the bottom half of the body. We attached an Anubis mask underneath the throne and added fake arms with gold gloves to hold up the throne. We also had a little tunic with an Egyptian belt and black fuzzy slippers on which we painted the claws gold.
Magician’s Assistant from “Beetlejuice”
When Beetlejuice went down to the Netherworld waiting room, he ran into many strange ghosts. Neptune the golden retriever is dressed as one of these ghosts, a magician’s assistant who died after a trick to cut her in half went terribly wrong. As she sits on the couch in the waiting room, her torso sits on one side of the couch and her legs are sitting on the other. Hopefully everything will come together before Halloween! All handmade, not photoshopped!
To make this costume, we started by making the couch. We made the couch out of foamboard, which we covered with batting and faux leather. We cut a hole on one side so Neptune could sit inside it and it would cover his body. We glued a red sequin tube top around the hole, so when Neptune went inside, it could be pulled up so he could wear it. He also wore a long sleeve blue shirt, in which we had filled the arms with pool noodles and we attached stuffed blue gloves and glued on red fake nails. He also wore a black bouffant wig and we colored his face blue with pet safe makeup. For the bottom half of the body, we made a waist area out of foamboard and glued on jagged pieces of poster board, to look like it was cut. We put a shiny skirt over it. For the legs, we used mannequin legs which we dressed in blue tights and then fishnet stockings and attached black shoes.

My costume is Jack Hatter, The Host of the High Halloween Tea. My idea for the costume came from a band called "Marquis of Vaudeville". I based it off of two of their music videos (We're All Mad Here) which is where The Mad Hatter element came from, and their other music video (The Enigma Men) Which is where the makeup came from. I'm also a very big fan of Tim Burton so I decided to mix two of his movie characters together. Fun and Whimsical with dark and Macabre. This creating "Jack Hatter"

Handmade tentacles made from wire hangers, foam, paper mache' and pipe insulation suckers. Goodwill finds of dress, tulle and hoop skirt. She has the crown but not pictured.
Hi!
My favorite video game on Roblox is “Tower Defense X” aka “TD-X”. This costume is the “Eradicator MK-1 Combat” character who is a “boss” that I have to conquer to move to the next level.
Thanks for considering me!
Jack
My 4yr old wanted to be a peacock for Halloween. So I sewed a velvet leotard and tulle skirt. My parents have a peacock (George) so I took the feathers they had saved of his and made the articulated skirt and tail cover and the mask and pin feather head piece. The tail moves up and down by my daughter pulling them. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/60b25dd0a7dfc6dfd09b035a7b347f088fe9f98e0f43c4517130cf0868cbf1d9.jpg

Willows "Amelia earheart" was made with 1/4 inch ply, cardboard, foam board, fairy lights, some old back pack straps and paint with a small battery powered motor to make the propeller spin. She was inspired to make this after learning about Amelia earheart and wanted to be an "old school pilot" for halloween.
Elphaba from wicked flying in her own world. This costume is made with Styrofoam, metal frame work and material. This was a family project started in June this year.
My son has been obsessed with The Mandolorian for years and decided he had enough skills to make a costume this year of his favorite character!

This is my Michael/Mike Myers Mashup costume from this year, bringing two iconic movie roles to life as one.
I had the idea for a few years since I really enjoy making mashups and finally brought it to fruition. Was really fun to wear around! https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/95b458fdaf08a4de6f17396f6c202be754568d0949a8f35cd1fcc63507848db5.png
This year’s costumes: Shattered Alice 🪞and the Imagined Rabbit. 🐇 Alice is not quite who she was, before entering Wonderland, and she has the mad grin and the shards of looking glass embedded in her skin to prove it. The rabbit she followed…is he real? He doesn’t talk, but somehow she hears him—and the ticking of the clock around his neck. Clearly time makes one curiouser, and curiouser, and curiouser…
