Halloween themed beer is once again starting to appear in UK stores, so this afternoon I decided to treat myself to a few bottles of golden goodness, totally unaware that TODAY is apparently ‘Drink Beer Day’ … Well, in that case it would be rude not to!
I’ll be starting with Hobgoblin Ruby Beer, which I know from experience is a damn fine drink, and after that I’ll be trying some Pumpkin King for the first time. I’ve been told it’s a very refreshing and smooth ale, but even if it tastes like crap I HAD to buy it for that bottle artwork! Time to get a horror DVD spinning while I start sampling.
