one thing i also find interesting about it is with everyone all split up no one will really know he’s dead..and search parties are pretty hard to do when there are 4325314321231 walkers right outside.

I am calling BS on no one is safe. When the writers whimpped out and let Judith live after the Prison story arc,it just proved to me unlike in the comic,in the show certain people are safe. I would say Rick,Carl,Judith and Darryl are not gonna die,unless they know the show is about to end.

I am hoping he is alive, as well, just so we can see how all the knowledge he has built up about surviving the dead worked to his advantage and to further show how not ready the Alexandrians are for the new world.

I also think he’s alive but I disagree that it would turn a great moment into a lame one. I would prefer it.

I am of the camp that thinks he’s still alive .. With that said, the reason I do want him to be alive is because — SPOILER — his death should resemble what happens in the comic. It was huge, important, brutal. Just one of those scenes that stays with you. Of course, they do like to mix and match (from comic to TV), so who knows. But I just don’t think one will stick. Because they don’t play this gimmicky game, the show actually has room to do this ONCE.
