yes i read this years ago was an awsome concept i did always want a sequal the prequal was good as well set in the other outpost but the thing is a classic movie and maybe should be left alone but the scifi fan in me would love another film but just dont wanna see a classic get ruined so il stick with the comic the art work n feel where just awsome but i do recomend the preqaul

Nice interview! But what does he have against Frankenhooker? It’s a fun, gory film with great performances by its two leads. Plus, it’s not even a sequel.

As for The Thing, it’d be cool to get a sequel someday because it’s such an amazing premise. It wouldn’t have to be a direct sequel to Carpenter’s classic, but could maybe reference it in some way.

Hi, this was great to read. I love horror and fantasy movies from the 1980’s, and The Thing is in my top ten movies not only from that decade, but in general.

I did not know anything about the comic until a few days ago, and it is really good. The artist (John Higgins) has a great style and made an incredible work.
