I concur. It is not often that you see roles such as Elise Rainer being played by people of Lin Shaye’s age and gender. I have yet to see Chapter 3, but now I am more excited to see it after reading your description. Although you just confirmed the suspicion that I already had about Chapter 3 being more about Elise’s story. Elise was easily my favorite character from the first two installments! I most recently seen her in a movie from last year called The Signal with Olivia Cooke (Emma from Bates Motel). Unfortunately Lin didn’t have much screen time in it though.
