There’s already a tip jar/donate link on the site for people to discover, but I’m not comfortable asking for donations or even leading people on how to make donations to us. It’s there for those that really wish to find and use it on their own, if they so choose.

But, we have no right to ask for help, campaign for it, shove it in your face, or even give you a shitty site that once you’ve made a donation, unlocks a better experience. Readers owe us nothing and we want to give them the best experience always, no matter what. In fact, I think we still have a few more milestones to go in order to create value and earn respect from readers.

I certainly don’t mean to denigrate other sites and how they try to survive, it’s just different for us.
