Yeah, I’ve always loved 2 but was hit and miss on the rest. I used to HATE 3 until I rewatched it a couple years ago. Now it’s definitely in my top 3 of the franchise.

I’m slooowly revisiting these movies after a very long hiatus. I needed a break in order to hopefully enjoy them once again. I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed the first 3. Then I got to 4, and I was like “Oh boy” this is where the ship started to sink. But I’ll eventually get to the rest again, and see if the stink returns to my nostrils. lol

Lol. Yeah, I just rewatched Part 4 and aside from the final ten minutes (and Crispin Glover), I’ve never understood the massive love it gets.

Having camp in session would be cool, and I think now they would finally have the budget to pull it off. Jason Lives took place with campers present…and it’s also one of my favorites of the later entires.

It’s always the same typical clowns getting ready for the up coming season. Part 4 really burned my ass because it really had nothing to do with the camp. It just felt like a bunch of yahoos rented the house next to the Jarvis’ just to fuck around. So many people love #4, but it really was pretty sloppy compared to the prior three films. A refreshing change would be for camp to be in session, have children witnessing murders, and maybe throw in a few kid fatalities. Movies always shy away from killing children. But if they want to grab the fans by the crotches, murdering a few kiddies would be a good shocking start. Show the fans that the makers are putting their balls out there!
