The only McFarlane poster I ever really cared to buy was Jaws. I always had a fascination with Roger Kastel’s original Jaws art, from VHS covers, to vinyl record sleeves and original US one sheets. McFarlane’s 3D sculpted version of Jaws is just genius in my opinion, something of which would always draw attention. The realism and intricate detail is marvellous, the proportions and positioning so accurate and masterfully measured, topped by excellent paintwork. A true eye catcher which looks like it will probably never be remade by the company again.

McFarlane always did cool shit for horror films, but when I saw the Friday the 13th 3D poster in the window of my local comic shop (Comic Carnival, may it rest in Comic Shop Valhalla), I was instantly smitten.

I have the Rocky Horror signed by Patricia Quinn, A Nightmare On Elm Street signed by Heather Langenkamp, The Friday the 13th signed by Adrienne King and Betsy Palmer, and the Jaws one as for now unsigned. The RoboCop poster was amazing as well!
