In reply to TheBeyond. I think what happened is they got a hold of so many similar movies in such a short amount of time, and now that the box office returns are diminishing, they've decided to just dump a lot of that stuff. Seems to be the case, at least. Jessabelle is a prime example.

I’m noticing lately that Blumhouse is literally dumping their catalog onto VOD without notice. I appreciate everything they’ve done for the genre but I would love to see junk like Quija as a VOD release instead of making it the only horror film in theaters for Halloween. We deserve better and I think even Blum knows that. Never thought I’d be praying for a new Saw film just to change things up.
