Average age in the theater was north of 50. I actually got up and ran to other seats when I saw this dude next to me whip out something wrapped in tinfoil. I got scared and didn’t want to witness “the reveal”.

I don’t know why but the combo of that AND the specific movie seems super sketch.

Well done! I really didn’t know what trailer I was watching at first, then I said “Awww fuuuuck!” Oh well, I knew I was gonna get porked at some point seeing a horror movie at the theater. It’s a gamble of sorts. If you try to time it and stroll in as the trailers are wrapping up, you risk having a shitty seat for the movie or sitting next to a guy who brought a tuna sandwich from home (yes, I’ve witnessed the sandwich thing before when I saw “Spotlight”….GROSS!).

Lol. Yeah, they did but I just stared at my friend for the second half of the trailer. All I saw was her rolling her eyes at me with really loud noises screeching in the background…so I’m still fairly uncertain what to expect beyond the hypnosis moment.

But that got spoiled when I went to see “Split”. The same thing happened when I saw “The Conjuring 2” and they showed the ‘Don’t Breathe’ trailer. Balls!
Did they show “Get Out” when you went to see Split?

Right? With a new Chucky and possible F13 and Halloween in 2017…it seems too good to be true. And, of course, it probably is. Lol

The problem is, I will probably not see most of them on the big screen. I can’t afford to go to the theater a lot, so I mostly do that with something big. The ones on the bubble are Alien: Covenant and It. I need to hear some more on those before I get too excited. Covenant worries me with it being a direct sequel to Prometheus. I know there is a lot of love by some for that film, but I’m definitely not one of them. I need to see some more trailers and go from there. Now if Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees show their faces (or masks), you can count me in.
