Another thought I had is that they could expand old Grandpa ties with the secert society and why he lives so long other than the fact that he drinks the blood of the victims. I always wondered about Grandpa, the guy is over 100 years old. Gotta be another experiment of the secert society right?

(This is a continuation of my last post) Why not through in a robotic arm so we can see some skull crushing horror, unlike in the Next generation film where he crushes her head but we don’t really see it. He could literally punch or stomp through people. Like I stated earlier it could all be done with today’s technology in movies. An expanding of this secert society could really be interesting and could shed light on why Leatherface never dies as well.
One question I have unanswered is at the end of the Next generation movie she sees the original surviving girl Sally from the first movie. Now did she actually have a spiritual experience like the Illuminati guy was saying, or was that actually Sally? And for what purpose was Sally there?

You have answered some questions I had about this film and I thank you for that. It was not a good movie but the concepts were a bit interesting. Like how there are forces controling things, that the slaughter family work for. How Vilmer supposedly doesn’t die. I think it would be cool if they brought Matthew McConaughey for a new and improved movie with the character Vilmer. With the new and better technology we got now a days I think his character could be good. Brought back to life by the secert society he works for. After being hit by the plane at the end of the next generation film, A resurrected Vilmer becomes even more deadly and calculated with his brother Leatherface at his side terrorizing their victims. His arsenal of weapons could be devastating as well. Like in the movie his lover Darla states she has a bomb in her head. Imagine him using that on one of his victims and actually seeing it utilized on the big screen? His robotic leg could be majorly upgraded as well. Why not throw in a robotic arm

Being a big chainsaw fan, out of all the sequels this one has always puzzled me the most since I saw it as a kid. I always found interesting the route that this film was trying to go for with the whole conspiracy plot. Unfortunately it seems that either it was ill conceived or they were more interested in recreating the first movie and there was no interest in expanding it.

Maybe there’s more to it like you suggest, and it would be great if Kim Henkel could shed some light on this mysterious plot someday.

This is basically what ive been saying about this movie for years. I am one of the few who actually enjoys this movie and has watched it more than a dozen times. I have always been a firm believer that Vilmer and the family “work” for an illuminati type organization, set on spreading fear to the masses. What better way to keep people in check than to keep them in fear. The man in the suits torso i believe is like that because he himself was a “worker” like Vilmer at one point. His torso being disfigured and hideous was his means of scaring the bejeezus out of his “victims”. The difference with him and Vilmer, is that the job has gotten to Vilmer and driven him insane…possibly Vilmer doesnt want to do this job or doesnt like what hes become (hence the part where he breaks down and cuts himself and Darla tries to stop him, both sobbing) I really enjoyed reading this and hope that Henkel some day sheds light on the whole thing.
