I myself am a huge fan of the slasher films, and it was both refreshing and histerical to see the antics of Chainsaw and Dave in an 80’s comedy, doing what they did best: Gore!

I am happy to say that in the 80’s I was a fan of them both, and now I actually know them both.

Just as true horror fans may fight back tears of joy when they speak to George Romero or Robert Englund at a horror con, I am the same way when it comes to Dean and Gary. Especially knowing that they both had the time to chat with me outside of a con, out of the blue, and just be class acts!

It was also put the idea into my head that ordinary guys in school could create gory makeups and started me on the path to doing my own. Id really like to meet Dean Cameron (chainsaw) some day – he doesn’t do a lot of conventions, but he’s the highlight of this film for me (and a great deal of fun in other roles – did you know he showed up on ALF?)
