Hi! I have a list I’ve been curating on youtube and recording videos for, which includes many I didn’t see listed here:

Some are Japanese horror themed, like Jaki Crush and Genpei Toma Den (Samurai-Ghost), but I think they still fit well here.

Anyway, this list isn’t abandoned, it’s just that I always have 50 different things I’m maintaining and stuff falls through the cracks.

I’m sure I’ll give it a polish between now and Halloween and it certainly helps to know that people are interested in it, so thanks again.

Ghosts ‘n Goblins – NES – 1986
Ghouls ‘n Ghosts – Sega Genesis – 1989
Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts – SNes – 1991
Decap attack – Sega genesis – 1991
Chakan The Forever Man – Sega Genesis – 1992
Hired Guns – Commodore Amiga/PC – 1993
Castlevania III, Super Castlvania IV, Castlevania Bloodlines, Castlevania:Rondo of Blood, Castlevania 64, Castlevania SOTN, etc
Shivers – PC – 1995
Shivers II – PC – 1997
I’d probably count at least the first Diablo – PC – 1997. I know Diablo is an action rpg, but they have a very strong horror atmosphere, especially the first.
Thief: The Dark Project – PC – 1998 Also by Looking Glass Studios. There are parts of it that are not horror, but more than half of it qualifies.

I’d start listing my Steam library, but at this point that would take hours, and dozens of new entries. Here’s a few:
Albino Lullaby, Land of Pain, Kraven Manor, Anna:Extended edition, Limbo, Araya, Inside, Doorways Prelude, Doorways Underworld, Doorways Holy Mountains of Flesh, Bendy and The Ink Machine, Boogeyman

Yeah, I haven’t updated it in a while. It definitely needs some work!
