Yes, H20 was my first theatrical Halloween thanks to my aunt who always took me to see movies I was way too young for. Love The Faculty and I thought The Last Broadcast was real until that ending. It kind of spoiled it for me, but I’ve owned it for a while now and have yet to rewatch it. I might need remedy that.

Hey Axel, Thank you so much for the kind words, means a lot. Sounds like your memories of H20 are very similar to mine. You summed it up perfectly when you said “fond memories which go beyond the film itself” … It’s something I notice a lot when I look back on some movies, and I’m kinda happy to feel it … 98 – 2001 was a fun, carefree time in my life, when I went to the cinema a LOT, so my attitude to movies back then gets merged with good memories of life in general. Great list Martyn. I also was extremely stoked for H2O, riding on the high of the first two Scream films. Saw it in the theatre with my sister and we loved it. I have fond memories which go beyond the film itself (which as you note, does not completely hold up…damn Weinsteins), one of which includes seeing the hillarious trailer for Bride of Chucky. Anyway, I also caught The Faculty that year and loved it (too bad they couldn’t have stuck Jaime Lee in there as well). It really is an outlier in Robert Rodriguez’s filmography…too bad he doesn’t talk about it much.

In any case, great lists, great articles…thankyoumuch.
