Though it will probably never happen. “Dream Lover” would be the perfect film to return the Nightmare series to its roots. Bring back Englund for a final bout, and I’d be a happy fan.

It’s brilliant though, so naturally New Line said “Eh, we’d rather have a Tom Arnold/Roseanne Barr cameo scene and a SCARY scene where a map starts growing! Thanks anyway.”

Also, reading how bad FvJ could have been makes me appreciate the final product even more.
