Stephen Geoffreys “Stark” character in that film is the stuff of legend, and Steve Dash’s crotchety old bar owner is fantastic. In fact, I would say that film used horror icons even better than the films you mentioned. Out of curiosity, did you ever see the film?

But there is a difference, and that comes pretty clear. With Zombie & Green the ‘stunt casting’ they do usually results in the actors actual playing central roles in the film and occupying teh screen throughout. In the other case, we often may only see the ‘stunt casted’ actor for one or two scenes. That is wack. There is a huge difference. Thanks for the article. It was great!

I would dream to be able to work with him and to get to build a character with him and every time i see him treated this way it just makes me sad and angry.

Having been a long-time horror junkie, thanks to my grandma renting Nightmare On Elm Street when I was all but 9, it saddens and upsets me to the same degree. There are so many titles that come out that have big name people, but have them starring in roles that underplay their ability and don’t cater to their talents. I guess we can keep hoping for more Rob Zombies and Adam Green’s. Until this trend breaks, we will see more and more.
