I am a happy owner of a complete one (all the 5) – all I can say is that I always feel a mix of happiness and sadness at the same time – but it is fun to imagine what would be if this collection had gone all the way to 200+ figures – can you imagine that? (and not only these 3 movies but many other movies? Like what? Myers? Chucky? Pinhead? The Fly? Poltergeist? Help me here – How about the old ones? Nosferatu? Dracula? Frankenstein and Bride? WolfMan? Black Lagoon? Invisible Man? So Many victims… (fun to imagine)

Great write-up! I was an avid collector of The Horror Collection and was so excited when they were released. There was definitely only five magazines and figures released, as there was a slip inside issue 5 that explained that the series would be discontinued henceforth. I was gutted, as I really wanted the Marcie figure! The image you shared above – which includes the seven models – is a screenshot from the TV advert (which was being aired all the time during the week of the release of issue 1). I’m certain there was a flyer inside the first issue which said if you ordered future issues through direct debit you would receive a free binder for your magazines and also the display case which you see in the picture above, but I’m sure has a glass case to go on the top. It was so gut-wrenching (ha!) when these were discontinued; I’d love to see something like this in the future. :)
