Comment on The Best Movie Trilogies of All Time by Michael Wagner

I was waiting to see if the Planet of the Apes trilogy would be on the list. I was giving up hope and then you made it number 1? Nicely done because it was an epic. The special effects, character development and solid through all the films. Not one wasn’t a great film on it’s own. All the acting was top notch. I thought I was watching real apes the entire time. The one shot if you haven’t watched it wasn’t to bad either. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

The perfect foundation for an EW2 is already out there, Bob Blackburn’s book “Kathy and I”, about his relationship with Ed’s widow Kathy and Bob’s discovery journey of Ed, and takes us through the latter years through both Kathy’s eyes as well as from his own research.

This year’s costumes: Shattered Alice and the Imagined Rabbit. Alice is not quite who she was, before entering Wonderland, and she has the mad grin and the shards of looking glass embedded in her skin to prove it. The rabbit she followed…is he real? He doesn’t talk, but somehow she hears him—and the ticking of the clock around his neck. Clearly time makes one curiouser, and curiouser, and curiouser…
