The theater was only two years old at the time and was probably one of the best theaters around to view Ghostbusters. The Napa Cinedome closed on Thursday, November 8th, 2012, but I still vividly remember the excitement of watching Ghostbusters. It was a wonderful amalgamation of special effects and smart-ass whimsy. And yes, Ghostbusters was just about the top grossing movie of 1984, bested only by Beverly Hills Cop.
