Yeah, I didn’t want to go knocking your opinion or anything, especially when I try to respect different perspectives from my own, but I had a sneaking suspicion that didn’t sound right ;).

Oopse… Those are definitely from best to worst. Resurrection is certainly not my favorite of the films.

Truly a great film. You can feel the hard work, care and thought that went into every scene, because Zombie is a fan to the core. The tone is slightly different, going more for relentless brutality than eerie stalking, but that’s why the film works. I don’t want to see the original being poorly replicated, I want to see a fresh, inspired take on it. That’s why the film works. It’s almost like a Halloween movie that takes place in the same “universe” rather than a remake.
