In reply to Black Orange. Rob Zombie 100% confirmed that it's titled 31, not 3I, and since writing this post he also confirmed that the 31 is a reference to the fact that it takes place on Halloween - October 31st.

According to IMDb, Rob Zombie’s official website and most of the internet, it’s “31” (which would make sense, October 31 – Halloween).

That said, it’s still possible it really is “3I” and this is just a marketing error they’ve failed to catch yet, but I think it’s more likely a graphic design error or that’s simply how “1” looks in this font.

Not sure but i agree with the 31 being something Halloween related when he stated he was done doing horror after Lords of Salem I couldn’t have been more disappointed so the fact he is going back to the genre is all that matters to me but i hope you are right because quite frankly a zombie horror Halloween bloodbath is what we all could use
