My Favorite Horror Movie Moments of All Time: Number 41 — Psycho

Psycho

To celebrate the journey toward Halloween 2014 I’m going to do something I’ve wanted to attempt since I first started writing here on Halloween Love … put together a definitive list of my personal favorite horror movie moments and scenes.

I hope you will agree with some, maybe raise an eyebrow at others and fingers crossed a few will be pleasant surprises.

Psycho

41 : Psycho 1960 : Mother Revealed.

Todays choice is the unforgettable moment viewers discover that Norma Bates is dead … well, not just dead, she is VERY dead. And has been for quite some time!

Hitchcock revealed the horrific truth hidden within his 1960 masterpiece by doing what he always did best, he just tried to scare the crap out of us! Norman enters the room screaming like a banshee, a light bulb swings overhead creating rapidly moving shadows and a very troubled young man carrying a large knife is finally captured …

Psycho

If you haven’t watched Psycho for a while give it a view some time soon. Anthony Perkins as Norman is a performance that simply never fails to astound me, it’s flawless.
