According to DomainTools (whois.domaintools.com/manhunt3.com), it’s been registered since: 2007-12-09. Manhunt 2 was released October 29, 2007. 4 days later from when manhunt3.com was registered manhunt4.com (http://whois.domaintools.com/manhunt4.com) was also registered. So likely, this was more of a preemptive move to secure the domains, for future possible use, but does not necessarily mean it’s set in gold that Manhunt 3 will happen.
