Regular readers will know I am a huge supporter of creative photography, especially when it features action figures and toys linked to horror and monsters in some way.
Every day this week I am sharing an image taken by Earl Ware aka 3rd-Rate Photography, who has put together a stunning collection of horror and pop culture influenced pictures.
Today we get up close and personal with the legendary skeletal warriors that Ray Harryhausen so perfectly brought to life.
These figures are quite small, but Earl has used some clever techniques to create a wonderfully dynamic shot here. I love the contrast between the spooky silhouettes that are being formed by the blinding light and the sharp detail of the skeleton the camera is focussing on. They look aggressive, deadly and ready for battle!
